A tough one by Meatshop-Tattoo A tough one by Meatshop-Tattoo
This was a challenge. It was started by another tattooist, who did not deliver what the client had hoped or expected. The details on the left one are not sharp, nor precise, and the design lacked many a thing. And yes, the tattooist thought it finished in that version.

On the right is my "rebuild". Its was really difficult trying to get the balance right, and cover the odd orange colour, but it kinda went okay. My client is happy, and so am i :)

This is lovely. I actually like the orange undertones because this truly looks like Henna now. Wonderful.

I think you took this challenge and delivered with flying colours. The strength of your own work is apparent, yet that pretty orange gives it a certain depth I think the design would otherwise lack.

Fantastic job, thank you for sharing!

If you look at it also, the orange gives it a little more definition than it would without it. It kinda makes it look like some parts are colored and thus adds more interest in the details of the tattoo. I would say that this is perfect with this detail on it.

It's always great to see a fix-up like this. As someone who's had to get a tattoo fixed (not as big mind you, though it had ink bleed), this is beautiful.

you did an excellent job covering up the previous design. In the beginning I thought they were two separate designs done on two different backs until I read the artist comment. it looks beautiful; you should be proud! C:

Very very impressive work; especially considering you had to go in and tie your own style into that of another with a natural-looking result. Very beautifully done.

I always admire tattoo artists who can work with something that was given but not great - and turn it into something amazing! Not sure I would call this a cover since it is still the original design but what an improvement!
The new version it way more harmonic and the additions make it flow into the body shape a lot better. I bet she was glad this turned out so well!
