Black band sleeve by Meatshop-Tattoo Black band sleeve by Meatshop-Tattoo
Done over 2 days in NYC. This is actually a cover-up, but the black bands function really well, so i made them large and agressive in the design, and based the design on a viking armband.
I will continue this later next year i think.

this tattoo is so manly, you just need a sword and a shield

Awesome work with this. Normally not a fan of the black bands, but it looks like there is enough negative space in there to make it work.

awesome; The bands add an extra element that isn't found in the common sleeve.  : )

This is a good cover-up. Tribal is SO frowned upon in the tattoo industry these days, but this is a clean design. Do your other sleeve with actual tattoo art. I do not mean that as an insult.
