this is looking nice! I like the way it warps the arm. And red looks amazing in the skin.

have you thought on adding few black dots as shading on the worm too? I think the plant looks a little aggressive because of the color selection.

You might be right, but i dont think ill use a pure black, it will most likely be the red, mixed with black, to make it Very dark. Pure black right on top would require a lot of extra shading, and that would put the motiff of the worm into the same "range" as the plant. But your right :)

I might make it dark brown, with a touch of red actually....might work better.

Those colors should work nicely together, since brown is like a darker skin. ;)
They shouldn't mean a huge contrast, so you could just retouch a detail, to give this worm a little depth.

Btw, I love this design!

I agree, it would be nice. Been looking at it a few times lately, and its a bit chaotic. So a rendering with a dark-brown-reddish colour would be good :)
